Summary bar
The summary bar is the section on the top of the user details page that summarizes and helps navigating the roles of the current user account. Roles that are not appointed by your organization do not appear to you.
Roles are grouped by categories:
| Group name | Description |
| Intl. roles | Sum of the roles in ISO committees |
| Regional roles | Sum of the roles in regional committees (including CEN) and grouped by RSOs |
| National roles | Sum of the roles in Regional Standards Organizations committees (RSO) (including CEN) and grouped by RSOs |
| Centralized roles | Roles applying on all committees where the associated organization is involved |
| Project roles | Project-related roles such as project leader. |
| Staff roles | Roles describing the relationship between a user and an organization (i.e. employee of or user administrator) |
Summary bar: October 2026 changes
Until 2026-10-05, these roles were grouped differently.
Here is what changed:
- Committee roles
- Before: included the sum of both ISO and CEN roles
- Now: Renamed "Intl. roles". CEN roles are counted under new "Regional roles" instead.
- Centralized roles:
- Before: Only ISO and CEN centralized roles were grouped in this section.
- Now: Centralized national and other centralized regional roles are now also included.
- Regional roles: New section that includes all regional roles
Visibility changes
These groups are now only shown when the user has roles in this particular section (i.e. if the user has no ISO roles, the "Intl. section" does not appear).
