Update project timeframe

Committee Manager (CM), Twinned Committee Manager (Twinned CM), Committee Manager Support Team (CM Support Team) roles refer to TCs and SCs only
Secretary, Twinned Secretary, Secretary Support Team roles refer to Working Groups (WG), Policy committees, and Governance committees.

Update project timeframe

In accordance with Clause 2.1.6, all projects are assigned a standard timeframe of 36 months. For International Standards (IS) projects, a one-year extension may be granted.

Committee Managers (CMs) and Technical Programme Managers (TPMs) can update a project's timeframe.

An extension may only be requested for IS projects that are active and have not been published or cancelled.

You can update the timeframe for a project directly from the Project details page:

1 Click on the edit icon next to the timeframe

2 Select the appropriate timeframe and click the save icon

Please note

Further to the implementation of the TMB ISO/IEC Alignment joint resolutions, SDT 18 and SDT 24 have been removed for all projects.

Committee Managers can now update a project's timeframe.
