Manual voting decision process

If the automatic process doesn't meet the committee's need or cannot be used because of exceptions, the Committee Manager/PC Secretary can switch back to the manual process anytime during the process by clicking Switch to manual decision in the contextual menu.

The "manual" post-voting decision process corresponds to the former process, i.e. inform by email your ISO/CS TPM of the decision attaching the manually filled form (all forms are available for download on ISO Online at this URL: www.iso.org/forms). Consequently, the following will be required from the Committee manager/ PC Secretary:

  • To fill manually the appropriate form and send it to the TPM
  • To upload the form on the committee working area and notify it to the committee members.

Before confirming the use of the "manual" post-voting decision process, a reason why the automatic process is not applicable should be provided. This information will be communicated to the ISO/CS TPM and will also be used for statistical purposes in order to enhance the application.

Possible reason to use the manual process may be one of the following:

  • an exception exists for the committee or project
  • the generated form doesn't meet the committee's needs
  • the automatic process doesn't allow the Committee manager/ PC Secretary to submit his/her decision, etc.

Confirm the use of the manual process by clicking OK at the end of the page or click Cancel to go back to the automatic process
