ISOlutions national meetings - Overview
The ISOlutions Meetings application was launched in July 2021 for pilot national technical committees selected by the ‘ISOlutions/TF 1’. We will start onboarding all ISOlutions members wishing to take advantage of this new service in October 2021.As an ISOlutions member onboarded to the new National meetings platform, you can organize and manage your national committee meetings using the features and functionalities described below.
1 Accessing ISOlutions meetings applications
As a user of ISOlutions applications, when you click on the National Meetings application from the ISOlutions Portal* or the meetings application from the ISO / CEN portals, you are now directed to the same meetings platform. This new platform will allow users to seamlessly navigate across National, ISO, CEN, and meetings from the same place.
Please note
*IMPORTANT!: Your national meetings will be available only if your NSB has already been onboarded into the new ISOlutions national meetings platform.
- If your NSB is an ISOlutions member, you will be able to:
- view your national meetings
- view ISO meetings.
- In addition, if you have roles CEN committee roles, or your NSB is a CEN member, or your account is administered by CEN, you will be able to view CEN meetings.
- You can register to only those meetings (National, ISO or CEN) in which you have relevant roles (such as committee member)
- You can create meetings for only those committees, in which you have a committee officer role (such as national secretary, ISO committee manager, or CEN secretary)
2 Navigation bar
In the Navigation bar on the left panel of the application, you will view the following options described below:
3 Accessing other applications
To access other applications available to you, click on the Quick access ("9-squares") menu on the top-right hand corner. The applications icons are displayed as per the access defined for each user profile (ISO, CEN, and/or National). Example:
- User with ISO + NSB (ISOlutions member ) access, will have all ISO application icons, and all ISOlutions application icons displayed.
- User with ISO + CEN + NSB (ISOlutions member) access will have all ISO application icons, and all CEN application icons, and all ISOlutions application icons displayed.
- User with CEN and NSB (ISOlutions member) access, will have all CEN application icons (including ISO Global directory), and all ISOlutions application icons displayed.
4 View meetings (in My meetings or All meetings)
- To view only National committee meetings* please select your NSB as the Working area
- To view only ISO committee meetings, please select ISO as your Working area
- To view only CEN committee meetings, please select CEN as your Working area
- To view all meetings, please select All as the Working area All is the default Working area My meetings and All meetings
5 Search meetings
- To search for National committee meetings, please select your NSB for the field Working area in the advanced Search page
- To search for ISO committee meetings, please select ISO for the field Working area in the advanced Search page
- To search for CEN committee meetings, please select CEN for the field Working area in the advanced Search page
6 Time planner
Using the Time planner, you will be able to identify an appropriate time to organize a meeting for your committee.
- You will view only those committees in the list for which you are a committee officer.
- To view the time planner for a National committee meetings, please select the particular national committee and click Find a time
- To view the time planner for an ISO meeting, please select the particular ISO committee and click Find a time
- To view the time planner for a CEN meeting, please select the particular CEN committee and click Find a time
7 Create meetings
Applies only to committee officers
- To create a National committee meetings, please select your NSB as the Working area in the Select Committee page
- To create an ISO committee meeting, please select ISO as your Working area in the Select Committee page
- To create a CEN committee meeting, please select CEN as your Working area in the Select Committee page
Please note
- You will see your NSB in the Select a working area dropdown list, only if you are a committee officer for national committees and your NSB has been onboarded to ISOlutions national meetings.
- You will see ISO in the Select a working area dropdown list, only if you are a committee officer for ISO committees
- You will see CEN in the Select a working area dropdown list, only if you are a committee officer for CEN committees
8 Register to meeting
You can see all the meetings (national, ISO, and/or CEN) in which you can register in your My meetings section. Self-registration is allowed for meetings in which you have a role (such as national committee member). In order to be registered to meetings of committees in which you do not have a direct role, you can contact your National meeting participant officer.
- To register to a meeting, select the meeting and click on the Register button.
- Once registered, you will be able to add the meeting to your calendar
