Follow content updates - Get notifications upon document updates

Follow content updates by email

The follow button allows you to get updates by email whenever content is created or updated. To subscribe to such emails, from the top right of the page, click the Follow button. Email notifications are sent a few minutes after the content creation/update.

Warning

Notifications will be sent for any updates made to the content associated with the item you have registered for. For instance, by subscribing to the committee workspace home page, you will receive notifications about any updates occurring within the committee, sub-committee, or working group linked to this specific group and to which you have access.

This option is available for all working areas managed in the Documents platform (ISO, CEN and national), more specifically:

  • Follow a committee workspace home page or any folder or document directly in it - For example to be informed when N documents are posted in the General folder, or non N documents (files) are posted in the Member area folder, or a specific document of an ISO committee, follow only those specific folders or the specific document.
  • Follow support material folders - For example to be informed as soon as ISO uploads any new support material,
  • for national mirror committees: follow any content in the original ISO or CEN committee - For example you may have chosen to opt-out from the automatic notifications, but you can still follow and receive specific project updates of the ISO/CEN committee, by following the relevant project folders within the original ISO or CEN committee.

Please note

The Follow feature is disabled by default for all ISOlutions workspaces. If you are interested in activating this feature for your national technical committees and/or your national support materials section, please contact the ISOlutions team.
