What is a User Administrator main contact?
A User Administrator (UA) is responsible to create and manage experts, national organization and national committees in the Global Directory for the National Standard Body (NSB). A UA is also responsible to allocate and manage roles for experts in the Global Directory for the NSBs. For more information on the User Administrator role view this video.
NSBs may assign multiple User Administrators to manage their data in the Global Directory. In such cases, one of the User Administrators can be designated as the Main Contact, allowing the ISOCS and Helpdesk teams to efficiently direct all communications and inquiries to a single point of contact.
Who is the User Administrator main contact for my NSB?
Go the ISO Portal , click on Reports (1) and download the list of User Administrator of Global Directory (2).
In the report, you will see in column C who is appointed as Main Contact.
If nobody is appointed check the next section to assign a UA Main Contact
How to assign a User Administrator as main contact?
NOTE:
This step has to be done by a registered User Administrator for your NSB. If you don't have any User Administrator yet for your NSB, please contact helpdesk@iso.org
Step 1: Search for your NSB's User Administrator in the Global Directory
Click on Search (1) and select Organization search (2). Enter the acronym of your NSB (3) and click on Search (4). Finally click on the in the acronym of your NSB in the search result section (5)
Click on Staff roles (6)
NOTE:
If the person you want to register as UA Main Contact is not yet assigned as User Administrator or does not yet as an account in the Global Directory, refer to the below videos:
Step 2: Add the function "Main Contact" to one of the registered User Administrator
Click on Edit (1) additional information for User Administrator.
Finally, click on Edit next to the person you want to assign as Main contact, select "yes" as main contact, click on Save and save your changes.
