Accounts
This part of the dashboard presents some metrics and data for the data quality of your data in the GD. Most of these metrics present data that might need to be further analyzed by the NSB user administrator team to verify if those accounts need to be updated or inactivated.
Active accounts
User accounts that have the status Active on the Global directory. This metric counts/lists all active accounts, including e.g. those that were not activated or have never logged in.
The following formula can be applied to relate the different metrics in this page:
Users that can login |
= | Active users - Users having never set a password |
= | Users having never logged in + Users having not logged in last 12 months + Users having logged in last 12 months |
Users without any role
Active user accounts on the GD
- With no Committee role
- With no Centralized role
- With no Staff role
- With no group role
- Without any project leader role
These accounts need further investigation why they are still active if they have no roles. There could be some good reasons for it, but most probably they have not been inactivated by mistake.
Users having never set a password
Active user accounts for which the initial password has never been set, meaning that owners of these accounts have never activated their account, therefore have never logged in.
These accounts need further investigation why they have never been activated depending on their creation date. Accounts with no creation date have been created before 2008.
Users having never logged in
Active accounts that have been activated (initial password was set by the user), but users have never logged in.
These accounts need further investigation why these users have never logged in depending on their account creation date. Accounts with no creation date have been created before 2008.
Users having not logged in last 12 months
Active user accounts that logged in at least once in the past but have not logged in the last 365 days from today's date.
These accounts need further investigation why these users have not logged in in the last 365 days. There could be some good reasons for it (e.g. no active projects). The NSB should decide if such accounts should remain active in the GD.
Users having logged in last 12 months
Active user accounts that logged in at least once in the last 365 days from today's date.
It is not possible to see which applications, or which actions these users have performed in the last 12 months.
