Accessibility statement - Standards development applications

Introduction

At ISO, we are working to make our standards development applications more accessible to everyone, including people with visual, auditory, cognitive, or motor disabilities, among others, and anyone who may face barriers when using digital tools. That is why our website and applications comply with the requirements of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 (WCAG), level [AA], which define requirements to improve accessibility for people with disabilities.

Scope

This accessibility statement applies to the suite of upstream standards development applications, including:

What We're Doing

In particular, we take the following measures to ensure the accessibility across our applications:

Designing and developing components in compliance with WCAG 2.1 AA standards.
Integrating accessibility principles into our Design System.
Conducting internal reviews and using automated accessibility testing tools.
Incorporating accessibility considerations in platform migration and modernization projects.

Known Limitations

We recognie that some areas of our applications may not yet fully meet accessibility standards. These include:

Older components not yet aligned with current accessibility guidelines.
Inconsistent keyboard navigation in legacy modules.
Missing or incomplete labels on interactive elements.

We are steadily working to address these issues as part of our ongoing accessibility roadmap.
