The members list shows the list of people directly registered in the group as well as committees and organizations in liaison. From any page of the committee (except the document online reading view), click on the Members list tab.

In the Members list, the list can be filtered using the Filter members field from the top of the page.

Access list (formerly known as Full members list or Secretary members list)

The  Access list lists all the people who have access to the committee documents whether they have a direct role in the committee or not. For example, the committee managers of the parent technical committee or related working groups are listed in the Access list but not in the Members list.

Email to members

This functionality allows anyone with a direct role in the committee (see members list) to send an email to all the people involved in the committee. This feature does not send email to the indirect roles to the committee (see Access list). To send a message:

1 Open the Members list page

2 From the top right click the Email to members button

3 Write the message to be sent and optionally, format it by selecting the parts you wish to format or pick a document from the drop-down list (documents available in the committee).

4 Click the Send button.

The message is sent.

Messages sent are automatically archived and accessible either using the Advanced search or directly from the Mail archive folder. For more information on Mail archive, please refer to the relevant article link at the bottom of this article.

Please note

  • Contrary to eCommittees, the Email to members feature can be used by any person involved in the committee including experts/delegates.
  • Sending an email to a subset of the member list, or to an audience outside of your committee is not possible. The message is sent to all the audience listed in the Members list page.
  • It is currently not possible to include external attachments to the messages. Should you wish to attach a miscellaneous document to your message, please upload it first in the Member area folder. The document will then be listed in the document picker when writing your message.

Email to secretary/committee manager

The email to secretary/committee manager functionality is not implemented as such. Instead, from the members list, please copy the email address of the secretary/committee manager and send him/her messages using your email client (Microsoft Outlook, Gmail, etc.).
