How to navigate across ISO/CEN/National meetings from the same meetings platform
Welcome to the new and improved meetings platform. As a user of ISO, CEN, or ISOlutions applications, when you click on the Meetings application from the ISO, CEN, or ISOlutions Portal* you are now directed to the same meetings platform. This new platform will allow users to seamlessly navigate across ISO, CEN, and National* meetings from the same place.
Please note
- If you have roles only in ISO committees, or your user account is administered by ISO or an NSB that is not a CEN member:
- you will see ISO meetings
- you will not see CEN meetings
- if your NSB is also an ISOlutions member, and has been onboarded to the national meetings platform, you will also see your national meetings
- If you have CEN committee roles, or your NSB is a CEN member, or your account is administered by CEN:
- you will see both CEN and ISO meetings.
- if your NSB is also an ISOlutions member, and has been onboarded to the national meetings platform, you will also see your national meetings
- You can register to only those meetings in which you have relevant roles (such as committee member)
- You can create meetings for only those committees, in which you have a committee officer role (such as ISO committee manager, or CEN secretary or national secretary*)
*IMPORTANT!: Your national meetings will be available only if your NSB has already been onboarded into the new ISOlutions national meetings platform.
Colour themes and working areas
Orange is the New Purple (from January 2025)
In our continuous efforts to enhance user experience, we will be deploying a new theme for ISOlutions that changes the main colour theme from orange to purple. This update aims to improve the visual distinction between ISOlutions and ISO content, reducing the risk of confusion due to the current similarity in their colour themes. The deployment is planned for the end of January 2025 and no downtime is anticipated for the impacted platforms.
What changes to expect?
The change will only impact the look of the platforms but will not introduce new features or change existing features.
The new colour theme will be applied to all ISO-powered applications offering ISO, CEN and ISOlutions content (i.e. Documents platform, Meetings platform and the applications listing on the ISOlutions Portal).
The following components are affected as shown below:
- Applications top bar
- Left navigation menus
- Beacon
- Application icons
- Email notifications top bar

2 Accessing other applications
To access other applications available to you, click on the Quick access ("9-squares") menu on the top-right hand corner. The applications icons are displayed as per the access defined for each user profile (ISO, CEN, and/or National). Example:
- User with ISO + CEN access will have all ISO application icons, and all CEN application icons displayed.
- User with CEN and NSB ( ISOlutions member*) access, will have all CEN application icons (including ISO Global directory), and all ISOlutions application icons displayed.
- User with ISO + NSB ( ISOlutions member*) access, will have all ISO application icons, and all ISOlutions application icons displayed.
- User with ISO + CEN + NSB ( ISOlutions member*) access will have all ISO application icons, and all CEN application icons, and all ISOlutions application icons displayed.
3 View meetings (in My meetings or All meetings)
- To view only ISO committee meetings, please select ISO as your Working area
- To view only CEN committee meetings, please select CEN as your Working area
- To view only National committee meetings* please select your NSB as the Working area
- To view all meetings, please select All as the Working area All is the default Working area My meetings and All meetings
4 Search meetings
- To search for ISO committee meetings, please select ISO for the field Working area in the advanced Search page
- To search for CEN committee meetings, please select CEN for the field Working area in the advanced Search page
- To search for National committee meetings*, please select your NSB for the field Working area in the advanced Search page
5 Create meetings
Applies only to committee officers
- To create an ISO committee meeting, please select ISO as your Working area in the Select Committee page
- To create a CEN committee meeting, please select CEN as your Working area in the Select Committee page
- To create a National committee meetings*, please select your NSB as the Working area in the Select Committee page
Please note
- You will see ISO in the Select a working area dropdown list, only if you are a committee officer for ISO committees
- You will see CEN in the Select a working area dropdown list, only if you are a committee officer for CEN committees
- You will see your NSB in the Select a working area dropdown list, only if you are a committee officer for national committees and your NSB has been onboarded to ISOlutions national meetings.
6 Time planner
- You will view only those committees in the list for which you are a committee officer.
- To view the time planner for an ISO meeting, please select the particular ISO committee
- To view the time planner for a CEN meeting, please select the particular CEN committee
- To view the time planner for a National committee meetings*, please select the particular national committee* page
