What is the Working Draft (WD) study?
The ‘Working Draft (WD) study’ is a common practice during the ‘Preparatory stage’ of a project and aims to gather comments from WG members on the draft (stage 20.20 and 20.60 in the International harmonized stage codes).
As WG committee members and liaison representative, you will be invited to provide your comments on the mature draft before it goes to Committee (CD) stage.
Cast a vote
Once a Working Draft (WD) study opens, you will receive a notification with a link to access the WD study. Alternatively, you can access the Working Draft (WD) study from the ISO ballot application.
1 Click on the WD study reference to open the information
From the list of open consultations, click on the reference of the WD study (WDS)
2 Click on Cast vote
The WD study information will open. To vote, click on Cast vote.
3 Provide answers and click on Cast vote
Select your answer and click on Cast vote to confirm.
Warning
If you answer yes, you must provide your comments in the document online. (see next steps for details)
Provide comments
Click on Access document.
Alternatively you can also access the online draft from the WD study reference document:
This will open the online working draft (WD).
Provide your comments in the context of the document.
Warning
WG experts can view other experts comments during the WD study. It is possible to support (agree / disagree) and reply to other's comments during the WD study.
