Summary

General release of new ISO Home portal, merging capabilities of the ISO Home portal, CEN Home portal, and ISOlutions Home portal into one central Home portal. The user experience is largely unchanged; functionalities are now centralized in one portal.

Single Home portal for all users

The former ISO Home, CEN Home, and ISOlutions Home portals are now unified into one Home portal: https://sd.iso.org (the previous URLs will keep working and users will automatically be redirected).

Harmonized access to your favorite applications

The Home portal application menu and the 9-square navigation menu now expose a similar user experience based on the user permissions.

Consolidated reports access

All ISO, CEN, and National-level reports are available from the Home portal’s Reports page, and are organized by working area tabs

Consolidated help and support

From the helpdesk beacon, search our knowledge base or reach out to the most relevant support team. Are you involved in ISO standards developments activities and ISO governance groups? Just like in the previous ISO Home portal, the ISO Companion is here to address your questions!

New Online Standards Development (OSD) actions

Two new OSD-related actions were added to My actions: "Add comment" and "Resolve comments"

Minor UI updates

The new color theme (red–purple gradient accents) reflects the multi–working area nature of the unified Home portal.

Improving usability

New "Upcoming actions" widget on the Home landing page: quickly spot new actions since your last visit!
All actions are now automatically marked as done when the task has been performed (applies to actions created as of 2025-05-12).
New "my actions" group behavior: actions that can also be performed by other user are marked as done not only for you but also for your team mates. For example, when casting a vote for an ISO technical committee, the related actions for the other voters of your organization will also be automatically be marked as done.

General Release of New! Applications (Home) Portal – ‘My Actions’ Page.

Six new actions have been released:

Circulate meeting attendance lists
Circulate meeting decisions
Circulate documents to be discussed in meetings
Circulate meeting agendas
Circulate meeting minutes
Assign a project leader

Improving usability

In the Meeting Application, tasks related to the circulation of meeting documents will be replaced by Actions in the Applications Portal
Updating the information display for Meeting actions
Projects related actions will now automatically be marked as completed
Displaying actions for appropriate members of Liaison committees and Liaison Organizations

Terms and Conditions

The new "Terms and Conditions" approval flow during the login process enables ISOlutions subscribers can now display a link to their specific national Terms and Conditions (hosted by the NSB) that their users will be required to accept during the login process

User Preferences

Users can now update the frequency of National automatic document notifications. Please refer to this article for more information.

New Feature

Export a list of your personalized actions to Excel

Improving Usability

Ensure that the actions displayed for a user are based on their current roles in Global Directory
Display additional identifying data for Projects related Actions “Submit documents to ISO/CS” and “Proceed to decision”.
When registering/unregistering to a meeting the action in "My actions" will now automatically change the status of the related actions.
