Key responsibilities of a User Administrator

User Administrator are responsible to:

  • Create and manage experts and their roles for the National Standard Body (NSB) they represent
  • Create and manage National Committees (NMC)
  • Main experts role and personal information up-to-date on a regular basis

Some key principles

  • Administrated by: indicates the organization that has registered the entry in the GD and that is responsible to manage it
  • Appointed by: indicated the organization that has nominated the expert or organization to a role
  • Every National Standards Body (NSB) should appoint at least one centralized voter and one centralized Participant Approver (MPA): Assign the role of centralized voter or ballot monitor (video)
  • The Employee of Organization registered in the Global Directory must be given a specific function: Assign the role of employee of organization (video)
  • User Administrator can only appoint a Committee Member to a committee to which its NSB is either P- or O-member
  • Document Monitor is reserved to NSB staff (person registered as Employee of Organization of the NSB)
  • When a committee (TC, SC or WG) is flagged as a Closed Group, only ISOCS can update the roles
