Manage national projects

This article is relevant for

ISOlutions members, specifically for users, that have the required permissions needed to create national projects, including:

  • National secretaries (National projects manager)
  • National secretary support team
  • User administrators of National Standards Bodies (NSB) using ISOlutions

Overview

This page allows users to view, edit and delete projects, including current stage and stage history.

View project details

  1. From the project search page, select a project and click on it
  2. The following project General attributes will be listed:
    1. Project reference
    2. Project document number
    3. Project part number
    4. Project edition
    5. Project title
    6. National committee responsible for developing the project
    7. Project registration date
    8. For published projects, the Document information :
      1. Document pages
      2. Document price
    9. Project Stage history: the list of stages a project went through so far.

Create project

New projects can be created by

  • National secretary and support team of the national committee
  • Support teams of National Standards Bodies (NSB) using ISOlutions via the role of Member Body User Administrators (MBUA)

To create a new project:

  1. From the left menu, click Create.
  2. Complete the various project attributes
  3. From the bottom right, click the Create button

Update project details

Projects can be amended by:

  • National secretary and support team of the national committee
  • Support teams of National Standards Bodies (NSB) using ISOlutions via the role of Member Body User Administrators (MBUA)
  1. From the top right section of the page, click the 3 dots menu
  2. Click Edit.
  3. Update fields
  4. From the bottom right, click the Save button .

Delete projects

Projects can be deleted by

  • National secretary and support team of the national committee
  • Support teams of National Standards Bodies (NSB) using ISOlutions via the role of Member Body User Administrators (MBUA)
  1. From the top right section of the page, click the 3 dots menu and select Delete

  2. A pop-up window with a confirmation message is displayed.
  3. Click on the Cancel button to not continue with the project deletion.
  4. Click on the Delete button to confirm the deletion.

Update previous stages information

To reflect the progress of a national project, the project stages can be updated by:

  • National secretary and support team of the national committee
  • Support teams of National Standards Bodies (NSB) using ISOlutions via the role of Member Body User Administrators (MBUA)

To move the project to a new stage:

  1. From the top right corner, click on Next stage.
  2. Edit the prepopulated values. By default, the National Project Portal will suggest
    1. The next stage as defined in the Stages page
    2. The current date for the stage registration date
    3. The latest version value
  3. Click the Save button

To edit a previous stage information:

  1. From the details of a project, scroll down to the Stage history
  2. Select the stage to update and from Actions column, click on edit stage
  3. Change any of the national project stage
  4. Click Save

Delete previous stages

To reflect the progress of a national project, the project stages can be delete by:

  • National secretary and support team of the national committee
  • Support teams of National Standards Bodies (NSB) using ISOlutions via the role of Member Body User Administrators (MBUA)

To delete a previous stage information:

  1. From the details of a project, scroll down to the Stage history
  2. Select the stage to update and from Actions column, click on delete stage
  3. Confirm the deletion
