Change type of meeting

Change meeting type from Face-to-Face to Virtual

1  Go to the Location page

1. Go to a confirmed meeting (or meeting no longer in the Proposed status) of the meeting type: Face-to-Face
2. Click on the Location tab
   

2  Modify meeting type from Face-to-Face meeting to Virtual meeting

1. Modify the meeting type to Virtual, enter the virtual meeting details (such as meeting provider name, meeting URL, meeting password, and Additional virtual meeting details (if any))
2. Click on the Apply button
   
   
   

3  Confirm change

1. Confirmation message is displayed to explain that:
   1. If a meeting (not containing any related meetings) with social events is changed to a virtual only meeting, all social events related to the meeting will be canceled
   2. If a parent meeting in a structure containing related meetings is changed to a virtual only meeting,
      • All related child meetings will become virtual meetings.
      • All social events associated with this meeting and its child meetings will be canceled.
   3. If a child meeting in a structure containing related meetings is changed to a virtual only meeting:
      • The particular child meeting will become an individual meeting (de-coupled from the parent meeting)
      • All social events associated with this child meeting will be canceled.
2. Click OK on the warning to confirm changes

Change meeting type from Hybrid to Virtual

1  Go to the Location page

1. Go to a confirmed meeting (or meeting no longer in the Proposed status) of the meeting type: Hybrid
2. Click on the Location tab
   

2  Modify meeting type from Hybrid meeting to Virtual meeting

1. Modify the meeting type to Virtual, enter or verify the virtual meeting details (such as meeting provider name, meeting URL, meeting password, and Additional virtual meeting details (if any))
2. Click on the Apply button
   
   
   

3  Confirm change

1. Confirmation message displayed to explain that:
   1. If a meeting (not containing any related meetings) with social events is changed to a virtual only meeting, all social events related to the meeting will be canceled
   2. If a parent meeting in a structure containing related meetings is changed to a virtual only meeting,
      • All related child meetings will become virtual meetings.
        
      • All social events associated with this meeting and its child meetings will be canceled.
        
   3. If a child meeting in a structure containing related meetings is changed to a virtual only meeting:
      • The particular child meeting will become an individual meeting (de-coupled from the parent meeting).
      • All social events associated with this child meeting will be canceled.
2. Click OK on the warning to confirm changes

Change meeting type from Hybrid to Face-to-Face

1  Go to the Location page

1. Go to a confirmed meeting (or meeting no longer in the Proposed status) of the meeting type: Hybrid
2. Click on the Location tab
   

2  Modify meeting type from Hybrid meeting to Face-to-Face meeting

1. Modify the meeting type to Face-to-Face, enter or verify the the physical location
2. Click on the Apply button

3  Confirm change

If a parent meeting in a structure containing related meetings is changed to a face-to-face only meeting, a confirmation message is displayed to explain that all related child meetings will become face-to-face meetings

Change meeting type from Face-to-Face to Hybrid

1  Go to the Location page

1. Go to a confirmed meeting (or meeting no longer in the Proposed status) of the meeting type: Face-to-Face
2. Click on the Location tab
   

2  Modify meeting type from Face-to-Face meeting to Hybrid meeting

1. Modify the meeting type to: Hybrid
2. Enter or verify the the physical location
3. Enter the virtual meeting location (such as meeting provider name, meeting URL, meeting password and Additional virtual meeting details (if any))
4. Click on the Apply button

3  Confirm change

If a parent meeting in a structure containing related meetings is changed to a hybrid meeting, a confirmation message is displayed to explain that all related child meetings will become hybrid meetings.
