Document workflow during Committee stage
The Committee stage includes 3 main stages: CD registered, commenting and comments resolution.
Default roles during Committee stage
At this stage, WG Officers* and parent committees Officers** are Leaders on the online document. All other roles are by default Readers (i.e. Committee members, Liaison representatives, Partners, Document monitors, and Voters).
During the Drafting and Resolution stages (30.00, 30.60), the Leaders set up the project team by granting the relevant permissions to the members participating to the document authoring. To know more about Setting up a project team, refer to the article at the bottom of the page.
During the Commenting stage (30.20), the Leaders and all other roles have Read-only access to the document, except for the Liaison representatives and Voters who are invited to comment on the document.
To better understand roles and their associated permissions, please refer to the article OSD permissions linked at the bottom of the page.

Stage 30.00 - CD Registered
At stage 30.00, the Committee Manager creates a Committee Draft (CD) consultation to circulate the draft to members. Once the CD consultation opens, the project stage will automatically be updated to 30.20.
Stage 30.20 - CD Consultation
During the CD Consultation (30.20), the Leaders and all other roles have Read-only access to the document, except for the Liaison representatives and Voters who are invited to comment on the document. Members provide their comments directly in the online document. The commenting process for members is described: Member Commenting: Getting started
IMPORTANT
Members have the obligation to provide all comments in the online document. It is the responsibility of voters to ensure they have submitted their comments successfully in the online document.

Stage 30.60 - Comment resolution
Once the CD consultation has closed, the project stage will automatically be updated to stage 30.60. All the roles to the online document will be reset to the default roles as explained in section Roles during Committee stage.
At this stage, the Committee and WG officers can resolve all captured comments. In addition they can update their project team roles to contribute to the document's authoring.
- Check articles from the category Resolve Comments, to know more about how to resolve comments (Committee and WG officers only).
- To update the project team roles, refer to the article Setting up a project team at the bottom of the page.
How do I move the project to the DIS stage?
Once all comments have been resolved, and the document is ready to move to the next stage (Enquiry stage), the Committee Manager can move the project to stage 30.99 by following the steps in this article: Update project stages
Once the project stage is at 30.99, the Committee Manager can initiate the Submission process.
Unless the project gets cancelled (30.98), the online document stays available for review.
Do I need to submit the project via Submission Interface (SI) for DIS?
Yes, once all comments have been resolved and the project is at stage 30.99, you can start the Submission process via ISO Projects.
The submission process for Online Document is the same as for any other projects. However, for projects launched with an online document (OSD), the reference copy and revisable files, as well as the drawings, are no longer required. Only the explanatory report remains a mandatory document at DIS stage.
IMPORTANT:
The reference document is the Online Document. ISOCS will process the online document to create a clean Word and PDF version which will be made available to members via ISO Projects.
If you provide via Submission Interface a Word or PDF document that differ from the Online Document, your submission will be rejected.
